- Visit www.TheClubber.co.uk, the South East's premier clubbing community, to meet local people all into the same thing..... clubbing
- one of the semi good clubs around rochester or close to is pulse near chatham high st good vibes and not much trouble inside the club a
- the casino rooms really isnt that bad guys!! iv worked there for a while and although the 'old dears' visit us regularly its still a pretty cool place to be. look out for saturday nites there upstairs plays only RnB/hiphop/garage/DnB... no dance/cheese music YAAAYYY!! personally i visit the tap n tin regularly. it has three floors of different music ranging from indie to rock to hiphop... ive been going there for over a year and ive never had any trouble there.
- The Vines in Rochester is a great hook-up spot in the summer if you like to hook-up with other alternative people. I.E skaters, punks etc...
- the castle is pretty damn hard to miss so everyone knows where it is, so that would be the best bet and its not far from anything worth seeing.
- The Memorial, where u can expect most grungers to be hanging every saturday
- People are now starting to hang round the War Memorial, next to the pink fudge shop, that you can't miss, people hang there during summer and parts of winter.
- Theres an abandoned church along watt's avenue with a wicked view over the medway and strood (woo). anyways its great to sit on the wall with a 20ft drop and imagine what we'd be doing if it wasnt raining.
- outside casino rooms you will usually get the odd hangr abouter! waiting for taxis mostly. another memorable hotspot is the castle for obvious reasons! (history.... not just drugs and alcohol!!!)
- action bikes in chatham is where i normally meet up, then we ride chatham
- Rochester castle grounds...good people, good vibes. Oh, and the vines. Last year and the beginning of this year it was the castle but more the vines now due to heightened security towards the youths. trendies accepted- no chavs though!!
- The vines is the ultimate place 2 get pissed et stoned! et lung cancer! me and my friend are 2 of the fellow vine goers. its a gr8 place 2 get on ppl coz no1 givs a sh*t coz ther all pissed!!!!!!
- The vines and the castle gardens are the in place for the younger generation to hang out, i even go meself in da summer, giv it a go, not all da 'sweeties' are little shits! infact i love em all!
- On the slopes by the Castle wall.
- If you're around in summer then the castle gardens or the vines park are places to meet random stoned people who are all dead friendly, if you dont mind the smell or them falling asleep on you.
- The Vines, all the rockers meet up here and hide in the bushes!
- i dont personally live here, but ive been here enuff times 2 know that by far the green bit infront of the castle is jus the best, i mean, its poss the sunniest place in rochester on a sunny day, and the types of ppl u meet there r jus the greatest...so b there ppl! :)
- Up the Delce
- The Castle for the "alternatives" but last summer it was the Vines mainly, but y'know, wherever we go there's lots of us and we have loads of fun. Avec alcohol, ganj and cigerettes. It might not be a perfect existence, but it lets us escape from the shithole we live in. If we go anywhere other than Rochester, we get beaten up by the "chavs" they don't really get that although we dress differently, we can still live together!!
- Not much skateboarding, chill out folks her, due to the collage population is mostly over 18. Skateboard for transport, club at night. Boarders drift here.
- Outside the Wine Rack on the Rochester Maidstone road, But not so much in the winter months coz it gets a bit too cold as they are way too cool to be seen wearing coats!
The Vines has become the Nu Metal kids hot spot. I've seen loads of them hanging out there. I would be there but I'm old enough to get into pubs!
- The Secret garden, located behind then The Eagel tavern has been the dope smoking venue for students of the king's school for over 20 years. During the summer months this secluded little park attracts 100's of students all intent on smoking the splinky.
- The vines - full of little modern day punks with Limp Bizkit t-shirts - there are thousands of em!!!
- The bank outside Fort Shit Grammar School
- The castle gardens in the summer - especially on festival weekends - getting drunk, playing football, oggling the boys and catching the sun.
- The swings at friston round the back of warren wood. Where all the chavs and sweaties hang out, skin up and write grafti on the climbing frames
- Jackson's meadow, by the clock at the top of Star Hill. Great place for privacy... If you wanted something livelier, then go down to the high street and there's the Blue Boar lane car park (Next to the Casino Caberet rooms).
