  • Deaf Cat Coffee Bar Gallery, opposite war memorial. Cutting edge art and trinkets from the local scene and a classy coffee bar too. Worth a visit. Look up the website. Info added 2011
  • Francis Illes if you don't know this art shop (or mini chain) in rochester high street, you're nowhere. doing fab xmas dec stuff at the mo.
  • I like the miniature stuff in the Dolls house shop.
  • Loaza kool shops ere if your in to dat kinde fing.
  • Rochester seems to have about 2 museums per normal shop. The dickens museum is free and fun to run around in.
  • Rochester Stained Glass has a very sexy proprietor indeed. He can whip you up a beauty with a bit of lead and glass. mmmmm
  • Francais Illes, 3 of them in Rochester, Little Dorrit, and that's about it!
  • Loads of art galleries, Specialist art/craft shops, cakes making, lots of book shops (the biggest secondhand in UK). Ideal for arts and craft, you will find it here.
  • Francis Isles is a kinda art store for the "posh" students and old women.
  • Oh yeah Rochester has lots of these.......
  • Francis Isles is the best one.
  • One place stands out amongst the shops here. Destiny's shop is full of Tarot cards, Crystal Balls, stones and so forth. Well worth a look around!
