- 2006 Update; Sweeps Festival, its when the town really seems to come alive with people and entertainment. This is the one to see.
- The pubs are fantastic, in fact, the nightlife in general is great, and there's something to suit all tastes really.
- nice place to live good friendly people most of the time easy to get around plenty of places to go
- Castle/Cathedral, Jolly Knight, Eagle Tavern jazz on Sundays, Coopers Arms....
- the amazingly friendly people, the casino (=my wages!!), wetherspoons, eon cafe (hey marcus&woody!) and the fact i could go there on my own and just bump into so many people on my travels!!

- The characters at Dickens (Fagin + Miss Hannigan) and we attractive guys from King's in our suits!!
- great atmosphere, everyone seems to just live in a drugged up haze

- All the festivals, christmas dickens, with da fake snow, the winterwonderlad fareground, and dis year the ice rink. The one in the summers gr8 2 apart from da scary morris dancers!
- The people man! Everyones super friendly and its an amazing atmosphere, check it out in summer.

- Chill in the day, eat well, clean, friendly, lots of mad people. Feel free to express yourself, drink the club dry, pub crawl with not much walking. Taxi's about, train station up the road, CHEAP parking. Charles Dickens museum. Cash machines.
