  • right easy one here perhaps everyone knows that kelly parsons aka kelly brooks used to live in rochester and has now moved to the usa her mum still lives just off rochester maidstone road
  • charles dickens... are we actually allowed to forget for just a min!! god save us from the hoards of european school students poining in awe at dickens' old house!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  • The mighty Jools Holland lives in nearby Cooling
  • Phat-Mat the genius skate guru that man knows everything about the world of skate, he can tell you the right kind of board you should ride and even tell if you have an internal pressure crack in your wood, he helped me realise that if i were ever gona get my varial heelflip i would need a 7 quarter inch deck with old school mini wheels so that the weight would be slight, and my deck would turn in the air faster, once i bought those wheels i got in two days and havent stopped since, YOU HAVE to look this fella up if your really after the holy grail of decks cause he will spend all days working out you setup for you. Usually at work but everyone in rochester with a facial pearcing knows him pretty well i should imagine, also found at the tap,n,tin.

  • Jay from the Man of Kent. Unlike Dickens and Rod Hull he is not dead.
  • Jamie Taylor (of The James Taylor Quartet) lives near the cathedral. Nintin Sawney was born and bred here, although has now left the area. Kris Dollimore, guitarist in Del Amitri (formally with The Godfathers)not only lives here, but also holds a season ticket at the mighty Gillingham FC.
  • everyone knows Charles"Bloody"Dickens lived here.. it's seems like there is a Dickens festival every bloody month.
