Buskers, Street Entertainers
- If you're lucky enough to be out on the town in Rochester over the weekend you may be confonted by a group of people shouting 'Hey Boy' and raising their glasses on to their heads sporadically throughout the night. we're not sure where it came from, but suspect it may have something to do with a particularly hairy, tall fellow.hmmmmm.....
- has to be fagin on dickens festival days
- the worst thing bout rochester high st is the local bums that hang around local drunks hang around by what was the dickens centre so they dont get collared by the old bill for drinking in the high st a occasionaly you get the odd person playing guitars or flutes for cash but not very often cos they get told to sling their hook by the old bill
- homeless guy ALWAYS drawing on the bank machine steps, opp rocket. hes for real..
- The Yeti a strange hulking creature-man by the name of robert, a nice enough man as long as you dont have anything valuable on you or smell of cider(even on occasion a crushed mouldy apple will turn those feed instincts on)
- The guy next to the bank near the dolls house shop is really good at drawing!!!!
- theres the mumbling man, i used to know his name. he'll come and sit next to you at the monument and argue. tell him you shot JFK.
oh, and the classic homeless guy whos houseboat sunk and now plays the guitar with one string and the song that goes "hermyenruoooooooooogeebralter". theres loads! a tramp stole my mates dog once. we saw him wearing it as a hat. serious, it looked very happy.
- the buskers in this place is phenomenal! these guys are so friendly to me and my friends! they let us play thier guitars wich deserves some respect!
i am also partial to a spot of busking when the mood takes me!
- get to hoo look out for a mad nun in a red nissan cherry dont stand in front of her she will run you down
- Tramps, immigrants from peru on their panpipes annoying the rochester population. ARGHHH!!
- us
- that man who walks around rochesster with looadza dinbosars callin em dino, now hes good entertainment!
- Theres a guy that wanders around selling little dinosaurs made of foam for a pound each. He hates french people too. Hes quite funny.
You'll probably meet the mumbling man if you sit down on the wall next to the memorial. He'll come along and tell you the quickest way to get to chatham and its backup. He wont go until hes had at least one arguement with you (he will contest everything you say). Quite scary but a completely harmless old duffer.
- John and Emily the silent buskers
Mickey Whizz and his lizards
Twirlies in front of cathedral
- not really *that* great, apart fomr a dude with pan pipes! And us with our guitars, but we don't get any money!
- Dickens festival lots going on then. Summer and xmas. Lots of old people on coaches!
- Wolf's Head Morris are now looking for Male members for the 2002/3 season of
Festivals. If you enjoy drinking, dancing, dressing up and falling down (a bit
like Princess Margaret in Mustique...)contact us;

- Keith Frazer - Excellent classical guitarist. (Often has to fight with south american pipe players though!! - and the Cathedral bells!)Oh yeah - he has a cool cd for sale too.
- the tramps near the off licence
- There r loads, most of 'em are homeless who try 2 sing 2 get money, but b careful it is a well known fact that some of these "homeless" people keep doughnuts under their blankets.
- What about us drop dead sex machines that are Wolf's Head Morris,(the original Men In Black), especially Dougal, who is incidentally For Sale. Please enquire at the next Sweeps Festival.
- The Prossies seem to congregate more outside Rochester train station. A local tourist spot known as 'The Mile of Shame'. Useful phrases; 'SuckieFuckie-Ten Dollar', 'Spit or Swallow?'
- MORRIS DANCERS... Rah! for Sweeps festival.. have you seen those Vixens? gorgeous women, all dressed in black lace and velvet. check out http://www.hugin.demon.co.uk/wolfshead/index.html PHWOAR!
- prozzies on new road.
- There's a man down the high street in a cream duffle coat and with a black dog who stands by the war memorial and sings, but you can never hear what he's singing and he always comes in the Nags Head afterwards and his dog stinks!!
