Skateboarding Spots
  • Okay these spots are off the top of my head and are... Would you believe actually alright. There not alright if you one of those "haters" that will bitch about their town and the state of skate at the moment. For those that aren't the before mentioned come give us a call and we will sesh all the way through the night (or until you go home... shit that sounded weird). Ashingdon Park at the top of Ashingdon hill. Be aware you've got to bring several pieces of ply to produce a landing for a gap that for some reason reminds me of the MK gap that Eddie Belvedere Nollie Heeled??? Also a deck high wall that seperates the lower car park from the higher car park (warning as with most areas rochford does have a percentage of "rude boy" with it but that's parce and parcel of any town). Second is Magnolia park near the railway bridge leading to Clements hall. Pretty sweet for a bench, flip, bench run but you need large sums of ply (you'll find out why if you go there). If your up for not being a pussy (like Brad) and jumping a fence then go to Doggets School via the grit track behind, jump the fence and find a perfect 6 set accustom with rail that I believe truly needs to be rinsed (All I know is Barry Dring backside k'd it which you can see on www.shintap.com). Holt Farm School along the main road to rochford square. Another case of jumping the fench but there are two benches that need to be properly waxed and as with most schools a huge playground. If anyones got cement then go to the Freight house next door to the train station (You'll find out when you get there), the place is a could be such a f**kin great spot with some cement. There's a slope opposite the resevoir thats serves an okayish flatbank. Lastly come give me Joshua Buck a call and you can skate my homemade box which is a laugh (I guess?). Actually lastly you can stop being a lazy bastard and make something or get of your arse and get your binoculars out. These are just a few places to mention. Rochford does'nt exactly have spots like the MACBA or Stalin Square but generally i couldnt give a shit, Go out and skate!
  • ashindon park
  • Clements hall ramp
  • not much really
