Is Romsey still cluttered with Roadworks? Or has the New Waitrose opened and it has become total congestion! Managed to move out of Romsey just in time, certainly not the place it was years ago. Re: Road Works Town by Sarah (Member 10114084) on 6-Jan-2004 No, it's cleared up a lot now, but there are traffic lights at the bottom of station road (if you flash your headlights at them, they usually change before you have to stop), there are also traffic lights at the junction between the Texaco garage, police station and Alma Road Surgery, if you know where I mean. There's a mini-roundabout half way along Alma Road that you have to remember about if you're used to the roads. The new stores open, there are plans for the old one, but they won't tell us what they are yet... ... more >> Reply
