• I'd like to say that all the people knocking the looks of Rotherham born ladies are clearly blind. There are plenty of wonderful women, with big hearts and even bigger chests. • There's a cathedral like church in the town centre which is well worth a visit. The civil and business brass have an interesting relationship with Sheffield. It has thriving Junior Chamber of Commerce! 'Ought as folk. (Tha riyte?)
• Rotherham is just a place where lots of dual carriageways converge. There is nothing else there. Well, there is the Zone of course but the music is utter crap. It's okay for pulling though (so I've been told!).
• Rotherham also has one of the few "Chapels on the Bridge" in the whole country. It became a tobacconists for several years, but is now back to being a regular Chapel. On a bridge.
• in rotherham town center there is absolutely no public toilets because the counsel closed them all down
