• rotherham is the worst ugliest shittiest motherfuckin town in this galaxy, maybe even te universe; never have i seen a population of ugly worthless lower than scum chicken shit mother fuckin freakish wierd bent cunts. ROTHERHAM WANTS A NUCLEAR BOMB DROPPING ON IT 1000 TIMES MORE POWERFUL THAN HIROSHIMA. LEVEL IT. scorched earth.

• Although much different when i was younger, Rotherham is now a paradise of charity shops largely populated by scum.

• You can't get a taxi after 2.00am. Inbreds. Random acts of senseless violence. Ugly women, uglier men. The football team's shite. The nightlife is abysmal. The town is ugly and the concourse is the pit of hell after 10.00pm. Thatcher destroyed all the villages.

• Rotherham proudly boasts the biggest selection of mullet/moustache combos the country has ever seen (think Chuckle Brothers, Paul Shane). It makes you feel sad to be alive.

• Bad tempered drivers on firstmainline buses, they should remember, it's the passengers that keep them in a job.

• The Magna project (massive steel industry museum due to be opened late 2000) which has attracted £millions in lottery/public funding. If the Millenium dome can't succeed in London, what chance has this waste of space got ?

• The worst things are the ever growing number of youngsters hanging round on streets and begging you to buy their booze
• Dangerous, full of bad drug ridden areas and don't ever visit Dolton or Canklow if you value your life. I can't wait to leave after 19 years

• WARNING TO ALL READERS... Don't ever go to Rotherham. It's the worst place I have ever been to. It took me 18 years to leave the place and now I don't ever wanna go back. The Charter Arms is very poor, and the only good pub is the Tut'n'Shive and even that's bad. The Zone night club is very VERY townie but tries to be hip and cool by playing Whigfield etc etc.
• I live in Southern Oregon, but was born and brought up in Rotherham. What's so bad about it? Everyone goes on about about what a rotten place it is. Not so. There is much of interest.
• There used to be several cinemas, but over the years they have closed one by one. There are now no cinemas at all in Rotherham. One of them, now a bingo hall, has a rare organ.
