- Woolies is the only record shop in Ross on Wye, Nearest shops for sounds are Hereford and Gloucester, The car boot at the cattle market that has been going since 1996 is the best place to buy c.d's dvd's and 33's & 45's.
- Well now we've lost Ross Records, the next best thing is Cash Converter in Gloucester
- used to have Ross Records, now nothing. the local mafia (the danters) have forced all decent shops out with their really high rents.
- Ross Records has good stuff - bit more pricey than woolie but have a wide range of music.

- There are two, Ross records and Woolies. That's it. There is no more. This hippy filled town has nothing!
- There is still only one proper record shop in Ross, apart from Woolies. hhowever the best place to get any rare and collectable c.d's & vinal stuff is at the car boot at the cattle market every Sunday from 8.30.
- NIGE from Ross Records, my brother works there and rebels against public popularity by playing good music in the shop, such as led zeppelin or the who. in the shop you can in fact find pretty much what you are looking for thogh.
- Nige's shop, ross records,I've worked there and I know what its like to try and survive in the shadow of the towering leviathan conglomerate that is woolworths, yea they're slightly cheaper but I bet they can't order you Fugs albums.
- ROSS RECORDS - local independent with a wide range of titles, if it's not on the shelf they will do there best to obtain it for you.
Yes there are customers who go into the shop with their designer Woolies bag !!
With regard to the comments about friendly staff, go in and see for yourself'As for the creator of the comments, It is suggested that you go back to school and
learn how to spell.
- Ross Records Go in and see the happy smiling staff, preferably carrying a Woolworths bag, always good for a giggle!!
- There's a local record shop origanily titled Ross Records. Obviosley a very friendly and helpful shop, judging by the amount of times the windows have been smashed in!!!
