• not enough parking. too many retirement cupboards (one built across road from monumental masons who does gravestones,ironic? or just latest in home shopping?)
• Hmmm where do i start?
• The DANTERS Lucas motor cycles Beulier Cottage,second avenue,greytree,Ross on wye
• Brookend street, The bandstand, market place, chavs, old peoples homes, tudorville and brampton
• The ingorance of the mayor not knowing what goes on in the early hours of the morning.
• Homework from JKHS, like us teenagers do have a life outof school!
• Everyone hates everyone to a certain degree. There's lots of people with bad teeth.
• THOUSANDS OF DRUGYS
• I moved out of Ross about 9 years ago, and when I come back for a visit the worst thing is that it's stuck in a time warp! nothing changes, and everyone moans about the place, well...move away then!! umm everyone knows everyones business (they think they do). People still dress like it's the 90s, If the dogs won't bite you the kids will! The drug problem, the so called night club..i dont think i need to go on, oh yes and the amount of teenage pregnancys and spongers.
• The fact that everything is owned/controlled/banned by Jacquie Danter. I'm sure if she wasn't there, planning permission would be granted for a new, better nightclub, that charges less than £5 to get in and £2.30 for a pint. And the dumping ground for rusty caravans would get cleared out. And all the people that live in her flats would no doubt see a huge reduction in rent. Oh well.
• The Town and everyone who lives there
• The inbread retared chavs that think they are the worlds greatest
• its a quiet town, sometimes it can be lively but not very often. it depends how many people u know!
• A town full of zombies . No-one smiles or talks to each other in the streets. Walk into safeway and you can almost hear a pin drop.
• Infighting among local politicians
• Trying to buy fresh food in the town- Safeway seem especially bad at this, the parochial nature of the people- if you've not lived in the place for at least 10 years don't expect anybody to talk to you-& if you are Welsh you will NEVER fit in here. The Town Council who, when they're not bickering & accusing one another of stealing the Christmas lights & Mayors robes do daft things like commisioning Walenty Pytel's monstrosities "flying ducks" & stick them by the river- so it can also look like Danter's scrapyard?
• The traffic system, if you aint been to Ross before , or even if you have, it has changed so much in the last five years, that even the locals get lost sometimes.
• pretty much the whole place, the whole town has gone down the tubes, since the one way system and lots of other bugger ups on the council's behalf. previously peacful residential roads are now frequently driven through by traffic. and it's known to have one of the highest heroin problems in herefordshire.
• if you're a tourist and staying here for a few days or so,theres nothing bad i can really say about the town,just hope some wee drunkard doesnt mug you.as someone who's lived here all my life i'll say ross is a bit of a gold fish bowl which is hard to get out of,its comfortable but there isnt much life here,theres definitely a few steps up the human emotion ladder in terms of excitement to be found elsewhere.why dont i move?i'm working on it!
• THE FACT THAT EVERYONE THINKS THAT THEY'RE ACE WHO LIVES THERE. THEY THINK THEY'RE THE FUCKING LORDS OF THE LOCAL PUB CIRCUIT WHEN ROSS IS JUST A SHIT HOLE OF A RURAL MARKET TOWN - YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE.
• The one way system !
• To many old people, it's a friggin' old peoples home here!!! Anyone from outside the area thinking you're Welsh....NO WE'RE BLOODY NOT!!! Farmers......need I say more!?!
