Neame Designs is a good art shop Campion does incredibly cheap off the peg frames but only takes cash DOH! Loads of galleries: all pretty safe, no Damian Hurst's here!
Rye Art Gallery High Street Antique Quarter - The Strand
the pottery shop is kinda ok as you can paint pots and such like
Art Gallery is worth a visit, whatever they're showing. Tons of other bits and pieces in Rye, and not all of it super-twee.
