Pubs in Salford, Greater Manchester*

The place to go for a lazy afternoon, pub quiz or last call

You can tell us more about Salford.

Pubs
  • The Kings Arms on Bloom Street (couple of minutes from Manchester City Centre) has to be one of the best pubs in greater Manchester. Good ol' pub decor, good beer, good crowd and there's a theatre/venue upstars with a glass-domed roof.
  • Brass Handles Pub - Very hospitable, Friendly & inviting to it's friends in North London. Fine ales & Live Entertainment throughout the night.......
  • the kettledrum has been demolished, a pub called the bassdrum an exact replica exists a couple of miles up the rd in stretford, they were opened at the same time
  • the brass handles pub has been slagged off on this site and i would like to say nice drinks, local and gr8 entertainment
  • Sadly the best pubs in Salford, are now demolished!
  • The Old Nag's Head, Liverpool Road, IRLAM. Quiz night every Wednesday night, weekend entertainment. Good family orientated pub. Friendly atmosphere, good company. Come & join us.
  • oh it's disheartening to see the sad demise of the peel park inn on chapel street. they've not only closed it down but bricked up the windows and doors! a group of us went there once and there was such a stale forbidding atmosphere about the place. there was a band of smoke nestling at head height, so you had to crouch to see who was scratching at your ankles. there was weary dog-eared woman of questionable repute lying splayed in the corner. we asked the barmaid if we take our stools and sit outside, and although bemused by the request, the door opens directly onto the pavement of the toxic traffic clogged chapel street, she said ok. so, anyway, thank the lord for the peel park inn!
  • Used to go in The Brass Tally after a swin at the local baths (not Seedley, I think that may have gone now). Not sure I'd go in there now!
  • Wellington on regent road Griffin, whit lane The Ship Paddock salford pricint area
  • The one and only. P A V. and the wallness tavern. mate
  • Most pubs in salford require you to have minders with you at all times. Or better still don't drink in them.
  • The Crescent on ...er... the Crescent - quality real ale. Willows Tavern at the rugby ground.
  • Brass Handles (If you dare)
  • The Irwell- great setting on the river for a good fight. The Kettledrum - surely Englands only totally round pub.
