  • yep that new craft shop in salisbury has moved from market walk to 34 endless street. losts of cool stuff drop in and ak for anything in the craft industry
  • RiverSpring Crafts, at 25 Middleton Road, as well as organising great pottery painting parties for youngsters and adults alike, also sell pottery painting kits so you can do it at home. You can then take them back for kiln firing - they also offer a postal service.
  • Crafty Feeling is Salisbury's newest craft store for all paper craft supplies, it's located above the Party Shop in Market Walk in the centre of the medievil city and caters for beginners to the more advanced papercraft practitioner. Ideal place for cardmakers and scrapbookers alike.

  • A VERY large Cathedral incase you hadnt spotted it, quite impressive if youre into that sort of thing.
  • Visit the country's leading steam bending furniture workshop showroom just 1 mile west of Wilton House on the A36. Award winning contemporary healthy posture dining chairs, solid ash tables, settes, cabinets and shelving by David Colwell, also renowned for museum seating. Steam Bending Open Days happen twice a year. Call 01722 744 577.
  • www.trannon.com Trannon Furniture is at Chilhampton Farm, 1 mile west of Wilton House on the A36 towards Warminster. Watch out for the 2002 Salisbury Festival 'In Praise of Trees' project with English Nature.
  • fisherton mill is gorge. 1770 is the best gift shop in town.
  • Der Mole Hole in Crane street and the arts shop just up the road
  • Pennyfarthing Tools at 26 Pennyfarthing Street (or for a virtual tour try www.pennyfarthingtools.co.uk) for a huge range of antique, collectable, user tools, ancient & modern for craftsmen, hobbyists of all persuasions & ages. Excellent service, time to browse to your hearts content. Try it.
  • Salisbury Arts Centre has interesting contemporary art and community exhibitions in lovely setting.
  • The Mole Hole, where you can dig for things new Maice and Nairn, the sewing expereience
  • Fisherton Mill,Big Ears,Jacaranda
  • Salisbury Craft's (also has a spook) The Mole Hole in Crane St
  • JACARANDA ISN NOT AN ARTY CRAFTY SHOP, its a hippy shop, sells hairdye, jewellery, clothes, mirrors, african carvings, lip rings and other piercing things, incense e.t.c and theres a fit lad who works there and everything
  • Salisbury Crafts Brian Leonards Treasures
  • Jacaranda (two blocks from the station) sells arts, crafts, folksy stuff. Reasonable, 20-40 something crowd. Not touristy.
  • Go to Wilton, (3 miles from Salisbury) best art/crafts shop in the world.
