- The bloke that goes round with the cardboard tardis, raising money for charity.
(Dunno whether this constitutes a busker?)
- Moved on by coppers, entertainment???? Finding McDonalds (closed 10pm on a Sat nite, sad gits) or a Burger King open, sad init? No wonder this dump had walls around this place originally to keep everyone from leaving!
- Plenty of them - check out the Old George Mall
- tha dudes who play weird music outside woolleys! xx
- Haribokart - creator of www.haribokart.com lives & works in Salisbury! He's pretty well known around the city nowadays, and shops in Tescos!
- This old man used to come up and feed our shire horse's (the one that take's you the tourists, for a ride). The horses used to crawl forward after the carrots & we had a devil of a time trying to stop two ton horses following after someone with tasty carrot ends!
- thanks god there are no buskers.
- the man with his head in a bucket was good.
mr magnet, the magnetic man of mystery is very funny. he is from plodiv in bulgaria. outside wollies most saturdays.
the singing man on a bicycle died unfortunately
- Short bloke called "Ian" that used to busk in the Old George Mall, he was always singing a dreadful song called about a bird called "Kerry". I met him in a beer gargen up castle street once and bet him a pint of cider he wouldn't jump in the river naked. He did much to the amusement of passing tourists!
- The joker on the Devizes Road with the beige overcoat and the porkpie hat who stops anybody on the street to tell them a corny joke. Anybody who lives on this side and walks the A360 will know whom I mean. Sometimes he walks a little dog.
- Average.......
- always nice in salisbury. often in old george mall.
- One of our cousellors for the council has BANNED busking from Market Walk and called the homeless all sort's of dirty names.
- There's a guy who does a handstand into a bucket...which is very amusing, but quite cringeworthy when the local kids kick the bucket.
we used to have a guy who went round town singing very loudly on a bicycle, but he died.... don't ask me how...
There's a fair few in the Old george Mall - a guy who calls the Big Issue the "big Tissue" (chortle Chortle not.)
- I like the man with the bagpipes
- The Hill Billy's who play infront of Woolworth's. They play country and western and are brilliant!
- The band which comes from Bournemouth who play the Western and Country music, the one's with the voilin.
- old george mall,cathedral,
- Old George Mall
High Street
- Quite a lot of good buskers, not many bad ones. my brother used to busk and he got a lot of money
Theres this one guy me + my friend met who had a dog called bruce, and made animals out of balloons. we felt sorry for him cause when he left, we asked him where he was going and he said he was going to Stonehenge, to sleep under the stars cause he had nowhere else to go
- George Mall, by public toliets
The Maltings shopping Centre
Paultry Cross
- You occassional get people who are trying to get to Music College, but that is about it.
- Pissed-up-down-and-outs in the Market Square are the majority of 'live acts' in the streets (or should that be dead acts??). However, there are often (actually) very good entertainers in and around the old market streets
