- Hourglass the retro shop in Winchester Street is well worth checking out - particularly good for rare dance tunes, hip hop, house, funk & disco.
- You said it there mate, there are some record shops all the famous brands HMV Virgin ect not knocking the little ones theyre cool but woolies yep you got it right, top of the list for entertainment here, the place is prehistoric.
- Stand Out - they sell alot of DJ stuff, rock stuff, merchandise from local bands etc, Virgin Megastore, The Music Store (prev MVC)

- HMV have quite a variety & the staff will always help to order things in.
- Vergin is expensive, MVC is good as it has a new points card, WH Smith is ok but they don't have everything in that you want. Woolworth's areok althrough thier CD's are slimmer. Stand Out up Fisherton Street is good for rock etc.

- Virgin are good because they have a much larger stock of records then the others, or MVC because you can get a discount on the price's (we hope)
- Stand Out on Fisherton Street is the best place in Salisbury to get lots of obscure dance and rock.
