- No, No, NO!! You haven't been listening have you? Back in the early 90's, Saltburn, the sleepy retirement town, went through some kind of manic phase. It spawned a nightclub. Not a cheesy, sleezy night club. But a big proper FAMOUS nightclub. This club was known as Philmores. It attracted patrons from not only all over the county, but the whole country in fact. It's ego, however was a little to big for ickle Saltburn, and the club got a bit big for it's boots. In the drug fuelled confusion of the early 90's rave scene, Philmore's made one mistake too many, and was closed down. It is now a hotel and bar. Things will never be the same.

- There was some place that got shut down on Saltburn Bank.
- Did have a great club which got shut down. Not really any now.
