What do you tink? Has nobody in Saltburn got a computer? Most on here posting are out of the area, I suppose that says it all really! Does the last one into bed still put out all the lights? Has Pete Johnson got his round in yet? Is Muir still full of his self importance?...lol Is he still big mates with the local 'goffer' from the Sales Room? If you need good fishing gear visit Redcar Angling. Are the local bobbies still stopping folk and asking where they are going 'cos it's after 10pm...they always were useless. They used to hit everyone with a 'producer' for not having side lights on during the night in the 'jewel' streets years ago...absolute rubbish they were, they did that about three times a year to see who had tax and insurance. Some prats. Does Muir still over charge for his worms? Yea, it's been a bit of a slow day for me really, how's yours been? The caravan site is falling apart - used to be a good park, not anymore, the local village idiot from Loftus does the repairs, if they can finds him. Like I said, it's been a slow day. My name's Jaime and my Dad and his family all come from Saltburn. His Parents, Mr & Mrs Muir, ran a corner shop. Dad's called Stephen, he's got 2 brothers, Jimmy and Keith, and a sister called Lynn, and they had a staffie called mick when they were kids. I'm 20 now and I'm really just interested in whether any of you remember him. He used to have a band who played regularly around, in the zetlan d a couple of times i think, but i forget the name. I don't know, its just interesting don't you think? My pop, James Muir, passed away a couple of years ago sadly. I guess you'll have found your Uncle Keith by now from the references to his shop, which he still has in Milton Street? He is still in a band too. We used to play truant from school and hide from the school bobby in his old shop in Dundas Street! I left Saltburn in the 80s but I've been back over the years and in fact have visited your Uncle Keith and Heather quite recently. They were a comfort to me at a tough time. The chippy near the church is great but not as good the one behind the bus station at Redcar..that is something else that one.
