- Market Tavern good for cheap tasty lunchtime bar meal
- Babalon ... turkish people that go ding ding ding when you order ...good to go when drunk

- Take aways consist of pisces (shit price for portion size). Charcoal indian kebab and steak house (nice food, price is reasonable) there is many other indians in the town including The Ganges, lovely food reasonable price and the staff are nice and helpful. My favourite take away is the babylon kebab house across from woolworths, in there a lot as food lovely and price reasonable, plus the portions are shit hot (the staff do need some happy juice mind).

- The Kebab shop, near the Wheatsheaf is where everyone goes after the pubs kick them out. Also the Ganges is popular.
- Everyone thinks the Casa Vechia is dead posh. However, I believe it to be over-priced and snooty. The foods crap as well. Best off going to the Limes Hotel for some of their smashing cheese pie.
- Information out of date, CURSHAWS definately the place to go, best food, great beer and really friendly staff and atmosphere.
Sunday nights include some great live music acts as well.
- Really good food at the Italian restaraunt on the cobbles.
- mcdonalds is now open on middlewich rd.
