- The Fox in Elworth is excellent, live music as well now, jazz oriented.

- lion has always got special deals....bring back the buy1 get1 free nights tho!
- The George, Wheatsheaf and the Lion attract most of the drinking youth. The Lion reckons its a bit of a club whereas the george is more of a sit back and chat pub. Good Karoke at the george on a wednesday night though!
- There was an incident once in the Ring o Bells. Two local men were having a disagreement about something. The argument started to become extremely heated until finally one of the men left the pub. He soon came back with an axe that he'd bought from the DIY shop across the street and was intending on suprising his adversey with it. Need I say more about drinking in 'bach.

they know who they are.... Bad pubs dont bother with the Black Bear* the lower chequer** the Iron grey** the The ring of bells*-
- The lion in Sandbach, what can i say, it has some of the best looking female bar staff ever, come on lads you gotta agree!!! and as for them fishbowl cocktails at only £15 a piece you can get hammered.
- Best Pubs are Black Bear, Lower Chequer, Crown, George, Wheatsheaf, Ringer Bells. For Cheap Beer go to Sandbach Cricket Club.
- The Chequers behind the crosses on the market place. Apparently the oldest place in town. DELICIOUS food, and a good choice of ales.
- The top 5 include, The Lion, The Lower Chequer, The George, The Crown and The Wheatsheaf.
