  • Sandbach Boys School has a cool bank, a few two sets, a nice sized drop at the front of the school, a shitty four, 5 set handrail (Bad runup - tight angle) and some other little gaps. At the Girls Highschool there are two 2 sets and some highly rated benches for moving around and grinding n sliding as done my Ant - Krook down the two... Sandbach skate Park has a Half Pipe, a rail, two grindable benches, a quarter, a finbox avec ledge and a flatty. Nothing special but what do you expect from a shitty Council job? The Planter outside Your More store is fun to jump off. Iceland has a fun flatty at the back. Or if you skate like Ben, go for an Ollie off the roof into the bank. The Clinic has a four set, some waxed curbs and if you go onto the Leisure area premises there are some walls to wallride and right next to the entrance to the Leisure Centre there's a 7 stair handrail thats been killed by a few people. Beat a fs or bs boardslide down it. And there's no run up to it...
  • 'Skateboard park' now in Sandbach Park, but aint all that good.
  • Firstly, I'd like to express my shock and general surprise that the little town where I live is featured on this website. I would also like to say that Sandbach has a lot more to skate in it than you would think. As a native to Sandbach, I will be in a good position to talk about it. To start with, I should tell you that Sandbach has its very own skatepark nowadays. Although this was done using a youth group's money, it was done in conjunction with the bloody council, so you will have to use your imagination when you skate it. They used our money, then asked us to design it, then went: "We arent doing your design, this is what you are getting". For a more detailed moan about the skatepark, which we are trying to get changed, or at least lynch those responsible, go to: http://www.freewebz.com/teamlard/ Now, onto the skatepsots. Well, you've got Safeway carpark, the side of Safeways (undercover), a set of 4, a big set of 5, and various gaps and manual blocks. On top of that there is Iceland, home of the Sandbach Leap of Faith, as well as the gap in Hope Street. There is also the rear of Martin's, complete with grindable gate. A good spot is the Post Office, although you can only skate it on Sundays. It features a ledge with a smoot runup and landing, and is completely undercover. Basically, there is a lot to skate, you've just got to find it, which is quite common really. A few schools dotted around. Loads of gaps around the place, you've just got to go looking. Get on the choo choo train to Sandbach Station, and head down Middlewich Road to get to the Town.
  • Wherever you can find a slop (down the back of Kwik-Save or opposite Safeway Supermarket on that stretch of mud).
