The Worst Things
- when the tourists leave and nine months later the CSA are on my doorstep.
- Overun with tourists in summer.Rubbish for shopping.(Unless you want tacky tourist stuff.Monday market.
- Gets too busy in summer, and tourists throw themselves in front of cars like lemmings. Takes ages to drive anywhere when it's high season. Shops are crap, so you have to travel to Newport or Portsmouth to do any decent damage to your credit card.
The place is dead in winter, which is fine once you're over 25 but a bit hard on the kids, who tend to hang around like dossers in the streets and around the arcades and pier. Shame really.
- Not selling any ice-cream because I was chatting up some Swedish bird and the ice-creams melted..Missing the last bus back to Ryde and having to sleep on the beach, hitch back or pay for a taxi!!!
