Donald Pleasance lived for a while in Froddingham Road. Ian Matthews was known as Ian McDonald and sang with the Classics and then the Imps in Scunny.
• Both wasn't born in Scunthorpe - he was born in Heswall on the Wirral (as was I). Like him, I used to live "near Scunthorpe". But I'm not famous yet.
