Cinemas
  • vue?? why?? Cineworld all the way!
  • vue cinema part of the bus station multiplex
  • Vue Cinema its just the same as all the rest, on ya door step so stop travelling to hull or elsewhere and use it!
  • Good Vue cinema but does tend to show kids films
  • Rip off!!!! thank god for orange wednesdays eh? they charge poor skint 15 yr olds £5.50 __ help
  • theres a multiplex in town quite smart i guess
  • New cinema's better than majestic ever was
  • Hey we have a nice 7 screen cinema now from VUE, its awesome better than Warner Village in Donny.
  • I wouldn't travel miles to see a film here because of Kids messing around outside and inside...in the middle of a film!
  • I think someone should reopen the majestic and play cult movies and have special trilogy nights stuff like Evil dead etc. I would definetly pay to have a Peoples cinema!
  • The new UCI is clean and the staff are helpful - hope the vandals don't spoil this new facility.
  • The UCI cinema isn't too bad, but it's waaaay too expensive. Majorly. £4 WITH DISCOUNT and WITHOUT REFRESHMENTS. You spend less going to Blockbuster..
  • UCI in town take your lady for the night, its competent.
  • The Majestic; you can get into an 18 if you're 5.
  • Thank god the old cinema closed down.
  • the majestic was rubbish, but the uci is well better, although contrary to some ppl's beliefs it is not expensive (i regularly pay £10 at some cinemas in london!!)
  • The Screen at the Central Library is comfortable cheap and shows some rad arty films
  • UCI - massive hotdogs rok, Ben & Jerrys inside!
  • cinema go th the new one in town near the bus station
  • odeeeeeeeeon
  • the cinema is pretty cool but the staff could do with a work out(if u no wat i mean)
  • big, 210 screeens... 25 popcorn machines
  • THE NEW CINEMA IS OPEN ITS LOADS BETTER THAN THE OLD 1 THERES RECLINING SEATS, NO BODYS HEAD GETS IN UR VIEW
  • new uci has opend pritty expessive thow
  • the pictures in town is absoulute shit!if u want 2 b made 2 feel like a complete idiot then go there!
  • Crappy majestic with 3 screens and half as big as nextdoor's telly (dont get me onto the popcorn)
  • the cinema is soo rubbish but we are getting a new one yay
  • majestic old n tacky nu one gettin built shud b gud wen finished
  • eurgh, the cinema is minging, it stinks, and its small, some of my mates have pretty slack jobs there though so its not all bad
  • Majestic is too cramped and old-fashioned. The best place to see a film is Warner Bros. in Doncaster.
  • we're getting a multiplex soon! the one in town(majestic)is pretty poor.
  • Majestic - What can I say, smaller than a poodle's kennels and it smells funny! The new films have normally been out for a month before they get to us! Go to Hull or Doncaster instead
  • Its Really old crowded and the cinema is very old fasioned
  • majestic is crap. you can be pissed at screen.
  • If you go to the Majestic, make sure you watch the film that's on the largest screen. Your feet might stick to the floor and if it's hot in summer, the only air conditioning is to open the fire exits which gives nice surround sound traffic effects!
  • Our cinema, well what can I say? The words SWING and CAT come to mind. If you want to watch the film in comfort go to Doncaster and don't say you were'nt warned!!!!
  • Three (or is it four) screen fleapit showing blockbuster releases. Not the best for comfort. Visit Screen Two at local library for comfort - watch with a bottle of wine.
  • It's small but it's ok.
