  • So the great Don Partridge lives in Sussex. Re the comment 'How are the mighty fallen' referring to him. Back in the late 60s at the time of his 2 hits (remember "Blue Eyes" as well as "Rosie"?), I heard that he left the pop scene voluntarily & went back to the streets at the height of his popularity because he couldn't stand the crap he was seeing & hearing. Anyway, he disappeared & we never heard of him again, more's the pity. I always had a lot of time for him because of that display of integrity.
  • Charlie the ice-cream man!! All students of Seaford Head school know who he is... never went there myself, but i used to deliver the Leader to his house.
  • err ,nope
  • Don partridge plays in the town in broad street can still atract a crowd.
  • Local busker Don Partridge (his hit Rosie reached number 4 in the UK charts in 1968) is a regular visitor to Seaford and can be heared busking in the local shopping street (how the mighty have fallen eh!!).
  • You could be entertained by Ben Boyle and his dodgy hair!!
