The place to go for a lazy afternoon, pub quiz or last call
You can tell us more about Seaford.
Pubs
- The Shore has lovely sofa's ans does a mean hot choc with cream!
- the boot
- the wellington, seven sisters are the only ones i know but i am only 14
- lots and lots
- The newest pub in town is The Shore, round the corner from the Train Station, where the John Silver used to be. It's an up-market, "trendy" place, with a late licence until 1am on friday and saturday nights.
- Welly The Wellington - great building - but some of the clientele a bit crap.
- the Old Boot for night life, the White Lion for a game of pool
- Crown if you want a ruck, Hole in the Wall if you want some local attitude, Early evening at the Boot for quiet one before everyone else arrives and you start to sweat.
- good selection of pubs for the old and younger set caters for all and spread all over.
- The golden galleon - excellent for summer evenings; and trying their own brew "saxon berzerker" is a top start to a friday lunchtime!
- The best pub in town is OBVIOUSLY the "WELLINGTON" or "Welly" to the locals, the best selection of real ale in town and also good food.
- The Golden Galleon on the Cuckmere River just outside Seaford on the way to Eastbourne. Wonderful view of a fantastic meandering river plus a fine selection of real ales including a variety of their own brew 'Haven Breweries' (brewed in the car park).
- Everybody whose everybody in Seaford has been to the Hole in the Wall. It's nothing special, just one of the few places where young people can gather in Seaford.
- Loads of these, all selling decent ales, mainly Harvey's of Lewes (qv I hope [yes, but not as you'd anticipate!]) especially recommended is the Wellington at the end of the High Street which always has 4 Real Ales from the South on tap at any one time.
- I recommend The Seven Sisters for a drink or The John Silver Pub for "SUM CHARLIE AND DE 'URB"
- The Beachcomber, right on the seafront.
