The Worst Things in Seascale, Cumbria*

• Ermm the hole village is bornin
• Can be boring for young & old in winter (winter blues?) Needs a social epicentre, a pub or social club for non-sellafielders!
• The local council better wise up, there is youth in the village, Seascale is not a place to retire too and die. Who will change your Colostomy bags when you grow older and lose your minds, someone has to replace you. And as for the wildest one in the village, now a turncoat and in the council, remember where you came from and what you used to be/do. Give the kids some action please, look what the place did to me, do not wish that on any more kids, please. The old/aged/infirm are not the only residents of this village!!!! Hey, you would not have made it anywhere else in this world, do not abuse what little power you have, tin-gods!!!
• The plans to charge for the car park!
• Lack of Pubs. There is a definate market for some. Several would re creat a comunity.
• THE KIDS IN SEASCALE AND THE PARISH COUNCLE
• Dog poo and owners who dont pick it up!! No takeway outlets of any kind.
• The most boring place in the world The parish councillors think they own the spot
• Offcomers who expect residents to either defend Sellafield or agree with them that it's the Devil's Own. There isn't much for young people to do.
• Nothing for the young element of the village to do except Youth Club once a week. We need funding for a 'drop in centre' to be open on a regular basis. Nothing flash, music & coffee would be better then nothing! Ignorant strangers whinging about Sellafield without getting their facts straight!
• How boring it is and there is nothing to do and the mentality of some of the old folk thinking that they own the village. Sellafield Nuclear Powerstation. Tourists swimming in the sea.
