• SCALLIES
• " No cinema (since the Apollo in Waterloo closed in late 1996) - this is dreadful! " Info out-of-date. The Apollo is reopened, alive and thriving as a community cinema. It's now one of the Best Things !
• Public transport. How can we clean up the environment if public transport is so unreliable and expensive?
• Despite general friendliness, more snottily conservative people in Crosby than one would wish for, many old but some younger too (even joggers!)
• The heavy traffic sometimes through Crosby, on Liverpool Road and Moor Lane; a bypass going through the spare ground between Crosby and Litherland would be good!
• The tunnel to get to Waterloo Station (muggers paradise). The George on a Friday night (jailbait city)
• Traffic going into Liverpool of a morning - and coming back of an evening!
• The wind (except when invigoratingly stormy near the sea !), and, when the wind is from the south, the dust from the docks that lands in Waterloo
• The parks are not maintained as well as they once were, even five years ago [1992].
• No cinema (since the Apollo in Waterloo closed in late 1996) - this is dreadful!
• High percentage of old folk (where are all the 30 yrs olds)?
