Does anyone know where Vera and Harry Bibby are? Vera worked at Barker and Dobson's with my mother May Wilson in the 60's. Vera was a Charge Hand and my mum said she was great. My mum and I went on holiday with Vera and Harry to Italy and Spain in the 60's. They had one daughter after amny years of marriage. My mum is now 86 and would love to hear from them. I an doing research for a book and need information on life in liverpool 1930s , I am interested in reasons why people would leave because of the poverty .Also my dad was born in liverpool 1935 when he was five his mother took him and brothers and sister to Northampton ,I know nothing about relatives from liverpool .His fathers surname was Pittaway .In the proces of gathering more information . I am trying to find a man who is from north liverpool, he possibly has family in Formby. He has been bald since he was young. Hes got light blue eyes, has a large scar across his forehead and he used to drink in the pubs in the bootle part of the dock road and the grafton night club. He was involved in amateur boxing and is now about 62 years old. He knew gladys who lived in quarryside drive, Kirk by.
