• kings arms - what can i say. past its heyday long time ago. food is served on strange days ie-not fridays? grubby. it has two poor poor poor pool tables where the druggies play. Mitre - has gotton better - good food thanks to Tristan. beer regularly will make you ill I have found. and as of today - 19/05/06 they should have got that septic tank smell sorted out - it almost made me retch a few days ago. The ship, is good. good for pool. and cider. and has almost normal people in there since all the out of work 18year olds have ran out of money and their bints know their not fit enough to ask mem for a drink. the fountain has gone pink (youknow what i mean!) and thats their downfall since this is not brighton or tisbury. soon being turned back into a godfaring public house.
• my god a small town mainly populated by buildings of the public house type! the grovenor, kings arms, fountain, crown....................
• the grosvener is wicked!!
• Crown - for the over 70s. Kings Arms - for the people you never see around anywhere apart from on a friday night Mitre - re-done. ok - thinks it a bit posh - only the clientale let them down. Best on Friday night for skirt. Grosvenor - is falling down but open till 2 fri/sat - young crowd. only gets busy when other pubs chuck out. It does have a juke box from which you can download any tune for a quid - good for carcass and obitury - for the teenieboppers to bop to. The Ship - THE place to go when barred from everywhere else. It has the best pool players in town. good place to find all you need. Fountain - its down a feck off big hill. nuff said.
