- WHERE HAS THE GROSVENOR HOTEL, OPPOSITE BELL STREET GONE. USED TO WORK THERE 27 YEARS AGO, LOVED SHAFTESBURY THEN, A PROPER SAXON HILL TOP TOWN
- gold hill fair is really interesting and attracts basically the whole community
it's a small town!
The young people are not intimidating and are not trouble
people who have lived here for years sometimes find it hard to let in new people....very hard
School are overall good and there is a sixth form at the upper school
- This is a small, grey (literally, and in population terms too). If you fart after 10.30pm they'll get up a petitiion and report you to neighbourhood watch. Expensive and dingy, what a combination.
