• Great place to socialise but get to know who is who!!
• Across the river Teign from Teignmouth. A beautiful little village with thatched cottages and at least 3 pubs and a fish and chip shop.

  There is a quaint passenger ferry across the river to Teighmouth. The main geographical feature of the village is "The Ness" which is a red sandstone bluff at the entrance to the harbour. The tidal harbour has on it's shores vivid red sand which is peculiar to the area.

  The boats moored in the harbour ground at low tide which accounts for the fact that many of the sailboats are fitted with twin bilge keels on which they rest when the tide is out.
