- When GAMMONS the bike shop were in Gordon Road it was a very good bike shop. The older lady in there was always helpful In the 70's I used to love going there just to look at Airfix models above the counter .

- Gammans has been there since I was a kid - I was born on Shoreham Beach (as the land South of the river is known) in 1965).
- Gammans in Buckingham Road near the railway station is pretty good. It's traditional, but Mr. Gamman knows his bikes. Spash Out is a Mountain Bike shop in Middle Road. Good for fair repairs.
