- Love the Heart Foundation Charity shop for its groovy bags!
- Occasional Bargains in the Charity Shops
- At last - 'madharrys' hits town! THE only place to go if you have a smidgen of style. Gone are sock suspenders & flowery dresses, this is On Fire, Lambretta, Criminal, Headworx, Voodoo Dolls etc etc - no more traipsing (is that a word?) to Exeter. Staff are really fit too!
- Many fine clothes shops in Sidmouth - all dedicated to the retail of high quality tweed wear and those plastic head scarves old ladies favour.
- Boycott "New Look"; please do not encourage these types to invade the sanctity of Sidmouth
- Field's seems to be perpetually in the 1950's - and has a "blue cross sale" which has been on every year I've visited.
