- Dancing regually takes place under the hospice of the Eglinton Bar, Castle Road. This is a remarkable venue which reviews up and coming talant in the area ( a bit like the Caveren). The host is larger than life and offers a welcoming atmosphere and ensures that the clients have no hesitation in returning!!!
- 71st Ayrshire Scout group have a Scout troop and two cub packs. The Attic Players - local Amateur Dramatics society.Highland Assoc. Toc H.
