Buskers, Street Entertainers
  • The infamous Ronnie McCullagh!
  • Bill Andrews.Crooner of sorts. Doug Spence....What can you say?
  • Richard Law deserves a wee mention here because he can play loads of instruments n'at, like fur example the bagpipes an the guitar (but no at the same time although is workin on that wan) all those years of sufferin the drones o him practising wi his loft velux open were torture and he owes us aw a public apology for that. Just kiddin Richard, yer rare an handy fur a showin at the local weddings an at.
  • the old bint that walks along the innes park road pissed as a fart yep busker you could call her , throw money , more like one of my boots : )
  • Here are some of the most famous street entertainers in the village: Skippy Boyle Shep Thain Gypsy Dooley
  • Since there's never been a busker and the only street entertainment is the odd fight or drunk singer then I thought I'd use this section to immortilise the memory of some well known dogs in the area. 1. Skippy (approx 1966-1979)the dalmation which attacked the tyres of cars on the stretch of Innes Park between numbers 33 and 65. 2. Gypsy (approx 1980-1993)a small fat black dog which wasn't always fat until she systematically built up a daily round of meal stops at about half the back doors in the village. This dog was so badly missed she had a write-up in the local paper. One woman even badly missed her twice because she badly missed her then forgot she had died and so had to go through the whole grieving process again one Christmas day. One of the saddest and funniest after-dinner speeches you ever heard.
  • Nothing particulalry worthy of nore here apart from Skelmorlie is a very quiet place t walk about under the trees in the peace and quiet listening to the birds!
