- spud-u-like is good food although it employs the most sour-faced unprofessional staff iv ever seen.
- bakers oven! its better than greggs!
- 'Nando's' in the Touchwood does great chicken. Recommended!
- ACTUALLY, SOLIHULL TOWN CENTRE MIGHT NOT HAVE ANY BUTCHERS SHOPS IN IT BUT THERES A GOOD ONE IN SOLIHULL LODGE, THAT DELIVERS ALL OVER THE TOWN FROM ITS WEB-SITE, I SHOULD KNOW, I RUN IT! THE WEB-SITES NAME BY THE WAY IS ROSSITERBUTCHERS.CO.UK, CHECK IT OUT.

- Boxtrees Farm Craft Centre near Hockley Heath is pretty cooool, and has a great Coffee Shop, wicked breakfasts and egg and chips on Monday 2 for the price of one. Nice place in the summer to sit out and chill!

- Lots of new restaurants in Touchwood, such as TGI Fridays, Nandos, Casa etc.
- Shades of Raj (Station Road) is good for a 'modern/designer' take on curry - gives Shimla Pinks (two doors down) a good run for its money.
- Pizza hut, Chinese bar & restaraunt, italian restaraunt, spanish tapas bar, burger king, macdonalds, a few indian restaraunts, TGI fridays and more that i cant remember now..
- de chippie is ok wen de servers can understand u (not gud english!!) but McDs is always gud 2 hang out - mind the dodgy waiters tho! (itz a long story)
- loads of curry and chinese in Knowle and Dorridge
- yates and hogs have some great deals in the day like two meals for a £5 also the food in bar censa is gorgeous
- If you fancy eating-out, me and my girlfriend often eat out in Brueton Park(the police were called once!).
- Jasper's Brasserie in The Moat house and The California Wood Fired Pizza Co. in poplar Way.
- The firkins bakery make an excellent sarnie-it's good!!
- Pizza Huts worth trying to get banned from
- The Pitcher and Piano (Formerly Jackbarrows) The food is excelent especially at lunchtime. Because it doubles as a wine bar it gets buy at night. I recommend everything they do with fish.
- The Jade Wok is a brilliant chinese restaurant opposite St Augustine's church.
- Beaties coffee bar is well worth a visit.
