The place to go for a lazy afternoon, pub quiz or last call
You can tell us more about Solihull.
Pubs
- Best beer and best prices is the White Swan, Station Road. Cast conditioned ale
at it's best.
- I like the hogs head, the first time I went in there was my 18th birthday and I had a right laugh
- yates is great but they keep iding me
- Masons is good - smoky and close.
- yates
- Could employ Kindergarden Cops as bouncers for those 'fresh faced' youths or is it they regularly have St Trinians nights
- ....wot?.....us?.....never. ;)
- Got to be the Masons - pure hunting ground for inexperienced Sixth Form college girls who dropped out of St Martins to improve their chances of getting a shag
- yates is cheap also masons is good of a sunday with a £1 a pint but full of alot of sharons and kevs in trainers
- The Mason's Arms - aSilhillian Institution. Also the Sharman's Cross for a swift Brew XI with someone whose "...always in there"
- Barley Mow - best on a saturday night
Masons - pretty shite
- Masons Arms, Coachhouse, Rosies Bar only young peoples pubs
- Anyone over 18 will feel ancient in the town centre pubs. Wine Bars are a better bet. The Saddlers Arms is worth a try though
- The Masons Arms.
- The masons in solihull used to be the place to be but then it became the 'hook up spot' for anyone under the age of 12 !!. It's got better recently because of the thorough age checks by the doorman. Although this keeps the young ones out it also works the other way. The sight of burly men grunting at you isn't the most pleasant (I don't think they can actually speak)therefore you would be forgiven for giving it a miss and partying somewhere else. To be honest though it's alright on a sunday. £2.00 in and £1 on selected drinks including pints, spirits and mixers. Be warned though the queue for loo does get rather long.
- It's all changed in the last few years. Goldern Lion is now a plastic Irsh pub.
Sadlers has been down up again. Keen and Skotes is now a Yates's. The coach house is probaply the best bet in town now.
