• The Maharaja Restaurant on London Road, Benfleet at bottom of bread and cheese hill, got to be the best in Essex! Best food and atmosphere in Benfleet!Try the buffet, it's so good!
• Kamble, the Chinese at Manor, is THE best take away in the area.
• Take out has to be from the indian down at the monument
• There is one really good resturant in Benfleet and thats the Harvester at Tarpots, they do gooooooood food! Takeaway, there is KFC at Tarpots, theres a million Chinese resturants on the high road, Chippies all over the place, theres a new Pizza Hut on the high road leading to the station. If you want a good Indian resturant there is a fantastic one on Bread and Cheese Hill, its very classy. You might even have to dress up for that one ooooooo!
• Far too many take away food shops. I cannot understand why there are so many springing up in Benfleet (Especially the South side of Benfleet) I suggest these are boycotted in favour of propper healthy food. Oh... a pizza hut has just appeared(Near sommerfields) which is 5 doors away from 'Gala Pizza' and about 3 doors from Akash. Oh Dear the future is bleak!
• Kfc you go in there to enjoy a tasty meal only to find that there is a fat lard ass working on the counter. talk about do you want to be put off your food. and the chickens hairy, wonder where she put that
• Best Chinese EVER is the one opposite the Benfleet Tavern (used to be Appleton Arms). Fabbbbbby.
• the Fryery at Tarpots is excellent for snacking. The Maharaja is ace for dining with a disco on fridays and saturdays nights
• Kwong Ming chiese does an Excellent chips and curry sauce. For the Winter days KFC always comes in handy cuz you can sit in and get warm.
• The Anchor Public House or Susies Smelly Fish Shop near the Half Crown.
• Lots of Indian, Chinese and Fish and Chip Shops located all around Benfleet. The best place for a greasy fry up is Winnies along the High Road. Lovely Food.
• The Tandoori Parlour,Hart Road,Thundersley The Maharaja (probably the biggest and best in Essex)Huge tandoori restaurant,on London Road

• Lots: we have a KFC a chip shop at Tarpots Corner (the Fryery), a chip shop at Manor Trading Estate (The Tasty Plaice I believe) an another chippie down Benfleet High Road called Nicks. Yet another chip shop at the end of Kents Hill Road called Pangs, a fish restaurant (don't what it's called coz it's new). The Hot Hut (kebabs, burgers, jacket potatoes and the like). A Chinese in Between Kents Hill Road and Tarpots Called Kwong Ming. Another at Manor Trading Estate but I don't know what it called. Another called Charlie Wong's by Benfleet Station, yet another along the High Road called the Golden Fountain, a Cantonese, two Indian restaurants (one's called the Taste Of India can't remember the other) all also along the High Road.
• The Cockle Shed serves excellant shell fish and is by the Hoy & Helmet (the best pub).
