• For all of benfleets flaws, fortunatley the schools here are adequate enough to teach us basic spelling and grammer; something which appears to have escaped the other people writing negative comments. I suggest you stop worrying about what we're doing and get a dictionary!!!!

• Manor steps- we met there so the boys could skate and we would laugh and listen to music
• we used to hang around manor shops lol.
• there is no where to go in benfleet unfortunatly except...richamnd, taropts, woodside, overton and mannor...the kids arnt all bad ( i was one of them) there is just nothing for them to do so people hang around thses areas! BUILD DECENT YOUTH CLUBS n not just ones for skaters emos n grungers....build one for every one. one thats goos n dnt have rediculus rules n i bet the kids stay of the streets then!

• any bus stop, or the station, anyway to leave the boiling pot of rudes and old ppl...
• Hang about down overton road long enough and some skaters will join ya. Hang about at the end closest to manor shops.

• thers nothing steer clear.... althp if ya -17 thrn go benfleet tavern thats usually wher thos sad little people hang out oh yeha tarpts too, and wats the deal with crowning out manor? hopw sad can ya get?!!?!?!
• Hmm,if your a grunger on your own dont go to villa park or Richmond park its full of rudies who will stare if not attempt to kill you, I suggest you go to Basildon or Southend. However if you are a rudie knock yourself out at Villa or Richmond there's loads who go there.

• Woodside Park
• i remember the old stc youth club, used 2 sk8 in there too. villa park too, th@ was years ago, steer clear of benfleet all, its the pits
• I would like to say that the places mentioned by other people must be the worst Benfleet has to offer! Although it is by no way a dream destination, the woods and wildlife are pretty amazing, and there are still a few places you'll be safe from the above mentioned "black eyes" and "broken bones"!! I wouldn't recommend what they say as unless you are 12-22 and know everyone, you're likely to go home with a lot more than a black eye!!
• In the summer Villa park is just the place to be. Everyone meets up down there and it's a great laugh. There's rumours that it's going to be built on now though- AAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!!! All nitas are always popular, and for those Richmond is where it's at. In the warmer months the rope swing is cool too. Just a bit up bread and cheese hill, in the woods, it's a great meeting place and brilliant fun. There's little streams running around it and it takes you about 15 metres off the ground. A bit dangerous though, I know some people who've had a few broken bones whilst attempting the "12 board" (I was one of them)
• who remebers the S.T.C youth club? it was on the site where Saxon Court is now built at tarpots.It was a council run thing i think and was really good to ease the boredom of benfleet as a early teenager.I managed to get my first black eye to start Appleton with at the club by thinking I was Tony Hawk on my scateboard.Yee haaa look out! there's a pratt on a deck on his way over!!!!!
• The "Little Park" Woodside Avenue used to be a major hang out spot but it all seemed to change as we all aged.Then it was on with the converse and street wear and some of us headed off to pastures new like Villa Park or Richmond.
• Tarpots Corner
• Not to be outdone by Richmond Park gatherings, Woodside Park for high as a kite laughter (using the swings) or making sure you don't look at the cars parked there after pub shutting times
• The Bread and Cheese pub in Benfleet, plenty of young women. Avoid Richmond car park at all times. If you do pass by, you may see little kids getting drunk on cider and chain smoking Rothmans. A nice pastime for the youth of today.
• Richmond Car Park Full Of TeenyBopper Gangs Who hang around the shops waiting for someone who will buy them some ciggarettes
• Richmond park along Benfleet high road a whole host of underagers waiting till their old enough to go pubbing and clubbing.
• Tarpots seems to be a popular hang-out. The KFC is also popular.
