  • leigh records is quite good
  • there used to be a reali good one that sold wicked stuff like hootie and the blow fish etc.... gone now thou :(
  • Benfllet has until recently had a bit of a dirth of record shops, we always had to travel to SOS and Bas
  • There was a record shop opposite Alldays.It was pretty good for Garage etc and another record shop selling mostly vinall has opened and is now opposite the Police station.
  • Music and Toys. Long gone but well remembered for Star Wars figures and Adam Ant records.
  • Golden Disc, its very cheap and very cool. You name the record and i reckon they'll have it!
  • NYI RECORDS. (alright geez!)
  • There used to be a hear-hear and backroom records but have now been replaced by a shop which sells mirrors and more mirrors
  • Hear Here Records: normal Our Price type records out front and luvvley dance type underground music out in the back also down Benfleet High Road (believe me it's quite a long high road).
