• The new swimming pool, not actually oopen yet but its going to be great!
• Tiger Joes no longer existing...good riddance!
• Meatloaf, Plug the Spud, Wizard olde english cider drinker, Capricorn dave (still aint had heart surgery), Old man Jacob,Andy frasers neck beard, moons inability of rational thought "whos gonna help me kick in .......", young girls for sexual favours at weekend
• Tiger Joes is no more and has been replaced by an excellent bar/nightclub and a restaurant serving some superb food (trust me I've eaten there!)
• Echelon - (Paul, Mark, Andrew, Owain) - brilliant band, go and see them.
• It'll never go away and you're always bound to see someone you grew up with in the pub. Even if you were to go down the pub on your own you would see someone you could have drink with. You probably wouldn't get mugged walking home at night
• good smoking subculture (i dont mean fags) and good skate spots. everyone knows one another
• Free parking everwhere, not much violence, asda's cheap, cycle-paths everywhere, decent schools,reasonably priced housing when compared to maldon & chelmsford. Not much sponger housing (DSS) so stops basildon from migrating here. Has a water front (but missing a waterfront pub still unfortunately).

• camping on radar hill
• knowing that you're safe when you walk home at night!
• On the sole SWF is a great place to live. Few oddballs around but hey you get that in most towns.
• The alleyway near St John Ambulance charidee shop - so dark and private
• train station, and the st marys church for skating
• none apart from friday nights
• It Is a nice place to live, everyone is friendly apart from a few.
• The way that you can get the best gear from both Southend and Chelmsford cos we're inbetween. Oh yeah and the original brown Porsche 911 that lives down Roding Leigh, and Simon Jone's bright Orange Mini.
• Just a short drive from pretty much anywhere, a very conveniant place to live
• The finest collection of crap XR2's in the entire county, as well as plentiful amounts of montego's and renault 5's with crap-lowered bodykits
• Clean and tidy, relatively safe place to live.
• its a nice community. nice skaters. queit. station to escape from
• GOING FOR A LONG WALK ON A SUNDAY AFTERNOON ALL THE WAY ROUND THE SEA WALL. WALKING DOWN TO THE RIVER AND SITTING ON THE BENCH WATCHING THE WORLD GO BY. THE MAY DAY CARNIVAL IS ALWAYS A GOOD AFTERNOON OUT. MARSH FARM IN THE SPRING WHEN ALL THE LAMBS AND PIGLETS ARE RUNNING AROUND.
• The people - really friendly and neighbourly

• woodham is a really friendly place to live and most people are nice apart from some who are up themselves big style ,we ahve a lot of skateboarders and bmxers which is good even though people say it is bad the shops are getting better i mean we now have a tatoist and new shops are appearing every day there is even talk of a swimming pool being built soon!!!!! william de ferrers isn't to bad i have seen worse adn it is near to londaon and chelmsford which ahve slightyly better night lives so all round it is a pretty good place
• The Flix, The Whalebone, Beebees records, Asda, the Cheapy Shops, Marsh Farm, Bushy Hill (also know as Radar Hill due to the Marconi setup), Edwins Hall Wood (on the hill)
• the train in little croft park
• it's not to far from chelmsford so at least we ahve some form of life
• The skating community, all the skateboarders are friends and their all wicked.
