• Dragon City has a top restaurant for chinese, Elachi (formerly IZZYS) does a nice Indian, as does SPICE at the top of Woodhan Ferrers hill (next to The Bell)...Mamozins of course deserve a mention.......Sadly Asda have decided it a good idea to add a McDonalds. Crap food and a magnet for filthy chav-types. At least we'll know where they all are!
• The Buger van (hut!) is the only place to be seen after a boozy night in Jds, they do quality food and if your a regular they even name there food after you!!
• The carvery at Shaw Farm is pukka, Elachi (formerly the legendary Izzys) is nice, Dragon City rules the chinese roost, The Panahar (next to Bell pub) is fantastic for a quiet meal, and Asda is apparently opening a bloody McDonalds :-( which promises crap unhealthy 'food' for all the chavs

• DRAGON CITY - wicked chinese......IZZY'S - R.I.P. but he's now got a restaurant in Parma, Spain somewhere. Good luck Izzy!!!!

• A message from the new owners of The Oakland Hotel: Tiger Joes is no more!! We have totally refurnished the old bar. One part is a 4-star restaurant, the other is a modern sports and music bar called 'jaydeez'. The restaurant has been furnished for your comfort with the inclusion of a lounge bar for unwinding after a day at the office or for a meeting place before your meal. • Loads of Indian Restaurants and Chinese's and all the pubs do food. Don't think Woodham needs any more indian take aways though or chinese's could do with a few other selections, jus for a change----- oh and they have an American diner which is meant to be nice?
• We miss you Izzy!! It's an end of an era. He has jetted off to sunnier climes. Maybe he read we were the 33rd crappest town and got out of here!
• Dragon city restaurant is the only sit-down chinese in woodham and hence it charges rediculous prices, buy the same food from it's takeaway and save 50%. Izzy's is the best Indian. There's nowhere to get a decent fry-up in woodham, Asda offer a deep-fried effort that's just an insult on a plate.

• if u want classy food in swf theres only one place to go- THE WHALEBONE!!!! the restuarant does proper upmarket food and the atmosphere's pretty good too.
• Hundreds of Indians, 3 Chinese',and Pizza Delivery places. The best Chinese by far is Dragon City. They offer a buffet for 1195p per person. They give u a menu & u choose what u want so not like other chinese buffets

• Theres Izzys and the Nawab for Indian,Dragon City and New Town for Chinese,CJs for fish'n'chips (Has anyone actually eaten in the restaurant? ive never seen anyone in there!),Mamozins for kebabs/burgers,Supreme Pizza for err..pizza,and the kebab van behind Wades for the tastiest kebab and the hottest chili sauce in town. Most of the pubs do good food as well, especially the Whalebone. Avoid Asdas restaurant at all costs...the grub is awful.
• IZZY's RUCHITA(www.ruchita.co.uk) is by far the best indian in town, for the best chinese check out DRAGON CITY, they're very polite. Sunday roast at the Curlew is blinding, also the Burger van is always there of course with their scrummy delights (best enjoyed drunken)

• Woodham Palace does a nice, relatively cheap takeout, and Taste of China has a very nice restaurant. They do takeout too, but the menu meals are nicer.

• Mamozin is cool for pizzas, chips, kebabs etc. Bit of a dodgy place on a friday and saturday night.
• 4 Indians, 3 Chinese, 2 fish shops all with restaurants (apart from chinese). Also pleanty of really nice pub restaurants too.
