Cinemas
- GOOD OLD FLIX WAS ACE...REMEMBER THE QUEUE FOR TITANIC
- Odeon is in chelm but ull b lucky to get a seat at ne half decent movies
- havent got one we used to though called the flix.
- Bring it back even if it had films that the were already on video, at least it was somewhere for a quick fumble!
- Now the Flix is no more, the nearest is Basildon Festival Leisure
- Festival leisure in Basildon is the nearest decent one
- Good luck to flix's "refurbishment" which has been going on for a few years now, better be a bloody good place when its done.
- no cinema has closed down due to being simalar to a broom cupboard, no i wouldn't have driven miles to see it, but basildon is close by and festival leisure park is quite good
- its gone now but it was shit anyway. go uci in basildon
- Used to have a cinema called "The Flix" but they got forced out of business by the film distributers who forced them to show films for a minimum of 2 weeks but as woodham is only a small town almost everyone had seen the film in the first week...hence they were empty 50% of the year so went bust.
- The Flix cinema (RIP)
- Yay for the Flix and it's postage-stamp sized screen.
- hahahaha the Flix - oh how we love you!
- Flix its totally under- rated!!! Its brill all the films at cheapo prices
- the flix is ok, if they showed the films at the same time as the other cinemas that would be good, and dont let the yoofs in to cause mess!
- Flix maybe small but it is convienientCheap and cheerful. Added bonus you can walk home testing a few pubs on the way!
- the flix, seems like ur watching a tv screen, or a gameboy, and the sweets go up by about 2p in price everyday, and now r very expenise, i think its 85p for a small coke
- The Flix is a really friendly family run business and nothing is too much of a prob. The small screen cinema would seriously damage your cat if you swung it.Watch it when you leave at night cos the bomb site outside has to be negotiated.
- one cinema with two very small screens. mmm...fantastic. its cheap tho, even if you ass is dead by the end coz the seats r so uncomfortable!!
- The Flix- Tiny little Cinema with only two screens but at the end of the day if it werent for the people that own it then we'd have to go elsewhere. I think its quite cool really.
- Festival Leisure Park,Basildon....next question please
- I'd rather sit at home wanking, much more pleasurable, even if the film only has to last half an hour
- FLIX is good if you can't get to lakeside or the festival leisure park in basildon
- go elsewhere.
- the Flix main screen is alright, but the small screen is actually smaller than the computer screen you're reading this on
- FLIX is good if you have no transport, for best results go to the Festival Park in Basildon
- FLIX - pretty cool
- flix-cheap and good for popcorn.
- FLIXs is really good - do you not remember SWF when it had NOTHING ??
- the flix, cheap, but shit nonetheless
- The cinema is good if u like seeing films that are about 3 months old before woodham gets to see them !!
- I personally love the Flix, it is cheap, friendly, and not that far behind the mainstreamers (although with 2 screens the orders do get muddled sometimes). The poopcorn is gorgeous and the drinks and sweeties are reasonably priced.
If you need somewhere else to go, there is a UCI in Basildon and an Odeon in Chelmsford, both about 20-30 minutes drive away.
- The Flix Cinema in the town centre, but they usually get 'new releases' out about 6 months after they come out.
- The Flix cinema, good for a small town, but only two screens. It's cheap though and the pop corns nice.
