- Utupia <3
- The Pyewacket cafe in the Market Place opposite the side door to woolworthes is a great place to go. It is an old fashioned cafe and it keeps to the old rules of being asked when you walk in and you will be asked if you would like tea or coffe0.e
- SHAKE IT milkshake bar is brilliant over 100 flavours of milkshakes!
I love the dime bar one!!!
- There is a wicked milkshake bar on the high street selling every flavour milkshake you could think of! It is well good!
- Utopia, Not another b****y mega chain but a coffee shop with a bit of soul.
ZU in Southchurch Road has a small coffee shop at the rear serving some of the best coffee in town and a garden at the rear which is a haven of tranquility
- Utopia, you sit there with all your mates and you feel like you're straight out of Friends ^^
- Utopia!
- Utopia Coffee Bar. They're real nice in there and it tastes so pro!
- starbucks coffee in the high street and also the cafe in debhenams.
- Zen Garden Cafe - A little coffee shop at the back of ZU Southchurch Road Used to do really good cold lunches but now just great coffee and cakes etc. Better than any in the High Street
- The Daily Grind @ Leigh on Sea Train station... See the mexican @ Starbux
- The Coffee House opposite Pizza Hut and Frankie & Bennie's is all orange and warm inside, and they do food and a student discount too!
- Gino's i'd say, £1.70 for a great sandwhich or your choice made with the bread type of your choice, they have a great lil place running there. My friends and I always go there for a bit to eat, they kinda know our orders off by heart.......how sad am I??
- one on the corner of town down southchurch road aint bad. (by the bus stops)
- STARBURGER!
- the best cafe or coffee shop that i have been in is the one down hamstel road right at the beginning near the white horse it does really nice food and the staff are really jolly too and they do lovely breackfasts i think its called hamstel fayre you gotta gpo there a try it to see wot i mean
- they are everywhere, but the buttery, just down from pizza hut, is pretty good.
- Seem to be alot of these popping up these days, got Mama Amalfi and that new one in Abbey National down the High Street, no Starbucks yet (and they do make the best Espresso)...
- Yeah, there is a coffee shop in the Abbey National building society branch - aint that pretentious!?
- Try Seafront Arches, lots of different cafes where you can either ave a cuppa and watch the tide roll in or enjoy a full english. Packed at weekends in the summer but bliss on a week day with your lover! phoor
- There are lots of cafes and coffee shops. i would strongly reccomend a sandwich bar called gino's it sells great sandwichs and coffee but can be a bit expensive. They have a smoking room upstairs and downstairs a place for non smockers.there is a coffee place in the abby national banks down the high street.
- Costa coffee in the abby national bank!
- Bakers Oven, expensive food but u can laugh at the staff in there iniforms (i can say that now as i dont work there anymore hehe) xx loobie

- There r a few in leigh.
- Too many to list, loads down the seafront and near Southend College.
- Give Mamma Amalfis a whirl just along from the top of the high street near the Odeon cinema. Although strictly a delicious Italian restaurant, it also doubles up as an authentic coffee shop at the front.
- the one down Queens road a few doors down from HMV, fantastic sandwiches, and you can sit up on the 2nd floor and watch the world go by
- Mami Malfis next to the Odean sell a bloody nice (but bloody expensive) cup of coffee. You've also got the Oasis Coffee House on Leigh road which is pretty cool (although they're only open 9-5 :(
