- hi i think that a good skateboarding spot is the hospital on curzon road where i live but we always get chucked out. another good skate spot is the two set at falkland road the good thing about the two set is that it is ridable
( skate forever people )
- i like the bandstand and skating in fishnets that gives the onlookers something to talk about the only time ive been in trouble is when moved on and i said to the policeman he had a big helmet get some bloody lights down at the skate park we should do a charity night for lights for the skaters never mind christmas lights poor kids cant see a thing no wonder the kids stormed the champion we are so behind in southport how much would lights be for the skate park that should be a question on the site
- new skate park by pier, full of multi-pierced greasy losers
- Not far from the Prom is a skate park were you find loads of Moshers and people on BMX's as well as skates.
- I say da sk8 prk near da pier is brill i love it dere i just go 2 watch but i think its gr8 and i think tht a sk8er called Kenny is 100% fit and is da best sk8er dere.GO KENNY!!!
- i fink da best place is lidal car park and the bandstand anthoer good spot is bedford park and anthoer good spot is birkdale high but if you got there you might get cought by the caretaker if you do say your in the school and he'll let you off.
- New ramp park's been built by the pier. Should be cool in the summer with the knoll closeby.
- PARK is finally built. Located by Matalan/Ocean Plaza, it consists of about five 7 foot quarters, a spine, a midi ramp, two driveways with rails/ledges, two stand alone grind boxes and some concrete ledges/steps. Is only good when immacuatley dry, otherwise ramps slip like hell. Also over-run by annoying fruitbooters.
- The new skatepark... when they finally finish the bastard....
- The bandstand - shit hot benches, stair sets, ledges, smooth flat ground,
ooo baby!
- concrete gardens outside town hall, sea wall e.t.c
- the Diana in evenings for the good skaters, the safeway blocks for the originals, floral hall is ok but scraggy
- Yeh outside Arts centre
- Outside Safeways, nice curbs!!
- the bandstand and the diana gardnes are attracting a veary large croude latley
- Well, lets see, Southport is primarily full of gimps in tracksuits and rockports, so its kinda difficult to find a decent spot without being harrassed by them. Ne way not many ppl skate in southport, and those who do tend to be goons who go round with their hats on backwards. As for skate spots, in my limited experience these are my favourite....
The princess diana gardens: a few ledges, a three set, a four set, several benches, lots of gimps unfortunately
Hesketh park: A few benches, and a mini ramp thats ALWAYS full of water its about 5 foot high, and 7 foot wide.
Near safeways: Serval ledges.
Near the fair: Never really go round that area, too many dickheads looking for a fight.
The promanade: Smooth lots of benches, gimps and old people. A few ledges too.
Thats mainly it I think, not exactly venice beach is it? Also, u'll probably spend more time dodging gimps in tracksuits that actually sk8ing.
peace
- Nowhere. Way too many pensioners on the street to make it safe to skate.
- car-park at the front near pleasureland (ops. victoria park) for smooth ground+
curbs, victoria park for more smooth ground+straight paths. safeway carpark, not as smooth but people still go.
- Supposed to be a mini somewhere. Hesketh Park: four Rareunit quarterpipes facing each other. But they're only about 2' wide and 3' high.
- Memorial is good with steps, boardslides, curbs etc.
- Slippery Slope Pleasure Beach £1 all day. About 20' of 40 degree bank with a platform. Good for grinds. (Brian Burns) Snake run good for carves and one place you can get air. Banks are grotty and you can't grind them
- Tescos car park, the banks on the sea front.
