Clubs (Dance Music) and Music Bars
- go-off..........top hip hop once a month at the wedgewood rooms......thats the only downside
- for alternative music get down to chaos, southsea parade pier.saturdays only. over 18s
- Bar Bluu is the place to go on a monday or thursday if you are female and from the age of about 16+! Most nites this is the place to go for a laugh with r n b and dance anthems along with sum cheese 2! Admittedly time is the better club but a lot less relaxed. Check them both out.
- Geushky @ wedgewood rooms, last weekend of every month. without a doubt the best techno club in the south - plays host to the likes of dave clarke, derrick may, dave angel + more. wicked up for it crowd, most fun you'll have in pompey. Release at the subway is a great little night out with a mad, techno loving clientele. The Go-Off - hip-hop night with wicked guests.
- CHAOS at South Parade Pier is now in Albert Bar - I Work there
- Time and envy is the best club around go there or else.
- Crowds of 'em on the seafront - Time (used to be Filth Avenue), Joanna's (matelots
only need apply), Chaos (stomping indie) in the Gaiety Suite on the pier, Zoom and
the Bassment (generic student tosh), Frisco's. Scandals is on the road into town
and has the lowest recorded ceiling of any UK nightclub. Probably.

- now and then clubbing is occured at the school youth suite
- Most of these are along the sea-front by South Parade pier.
- Friscos along the seafront is allegedly a laugh (if you've had 15 pints!)
