Cheap Food
- The Shoeme Balti (Indian) is wkd esp if you're vegetarian: tons of choice, best for takeaways tho' as there's only 2 tables to eat in. Your gran probably wouldn't like it as it's not as posh as most Southwold restaurants. Unless your gran has very good taste...
- The Indian takeaway in the High Street is amazing open till 11 every night!
The Fish and Chip shop in the High Street is good too but doesn't have very long opening hours :-(
- Food in The Crown is generally very good. Only had one poor meal there, but it is rather full of Ruperts and Felicitys from Hampstead.
Dont object to them too much but a balance would be good - as long as theyy are polite Im okay with that!
- Ives tea shop, just a little way past The Swan Hotel is perfect for a really good cuppa and a slab of cake, jsut around the back of the ice-cream parlour.
- First Indian restaurant opened 1997 worth trying
- evry one sells good food but the red lion sells the best fish &chips.
