Favourite Building
- The large water tower and the lighthouse. Some people find the water tower ugly, but I love it. It's a sinister, brooding presence over the Common, and is actually a listed building. Watch Peter Greenaway's film "Drowning By Numbers" and see how pivotal it is to the plot.
- Adnams stables: building's nothing special but the drayhorses in it are brill.
- The Beach Huts. Over 240 of them, and given unusual names.

- Swan Hotel, the Lighthouse, water pump, market square, the brewery, old terraced houses.

- The light house. And the Harbour Inn, which is right next to the harbour and has the 1950 something flood level marked on the wall. Good food too.
