Family history: TURTLE by frances Shaw Sartori (Member 10067477) on 3-Sep-2007
My gr.grandmother Margaret Turtle (this may not be the real spelling. It may just sound the same) was born in Shoreditch about 1859. I can find no record of her birth. Apparently, she did not marry, but she had six children with my gr.grandfather John? Shaw. Are there any other Turtles out there, whatever the spelling, that could throw some light on this. Thank you

Jane Fox nee Sylvester 15 Wimbourne Street Shoreditch by Orla Moran (Member 10211126) on 22-Jul-2007
Hi my great grandmother was Jane Sylvester. She married James Fox and had 2 kids called Mary Ann Jane and Susan. My granny was Mary Fox, born in 1914 and the birth cert shows they were living in Wimbourne Street at that time. They moved to Dublin sometime in the 1930's. Unfortunately I cant find any more info on who Jane Sylvester was. Any ideas/ help would be brilliant.

Many thanks,
